S-CAPEPOD Bariatric Evacuation Sheet

The Bariatric S-CAPEPOD is the only evacuation sheet made specifically for larger individuals.

With a 300 kg load capacity, the evacuation sheet features extra abdominal belts plus full over-body wing-style belts to cocoon the patient with the mattress so patient movement is prevented during staircase evacuation.

Like the other S-CAPEPOD Evacuation Sheets, the Bariatric version is permanently placed beneath the mattress ready for rapid deployment in emergencies. The intuitive design of the Bariatric S-CAPEPOD makes it simple to learn to use, and enables two or three rescuers to prepare the patient ready for evacuation in approximately one minute.

Each evacuation sheet is treated with an anti-bacterial treatment and is fire retardant to EN 597 M1. The Bariatric S-CAPEPOD is also available as a special order in a similar 500 kg version using Dyneema® – the world’s strongest fibre.

Cleaning & Care:

• Wash at 60 degress Celsius
• May be tumble dried on low temperature / delicate
• Do not iron
• Do not use chemicals or bleach to clean the S-CAPEPOD
• Do not wash with fabric softeners or washing powders with incorporated fabric softener
